Cappadocia’s geological structure is one of the natural wonders of our world. This geological structure is the result of two opposing forces. Before even explaining these forces, i have to remind you this place is one of the world’s sacred wonder, it is really hard to even try to explain this area by words. However, we will try!.. As we expressed before 2 opposing forces caused the eruption.. First of these power is constant volcanic activity of central Anatolian mountains, such as volcanic bombs and ashes.. For thousands of years these volcanic materials being erupted by our second force ‘Wind’.. Because of the wind for many years volcanic stones being carved and unique shapes of stones and hills formed. Not to mention geological structure of the region is really suitable for underground cities and rock-mountain keeps. There are many underground cities and mountain keeps around the Cappadocia region alongside with volcanic geological natural beauties. You may learn more about Cappadocia on wiki website..
The Festival area is around the Damsa Lake. It’s a man made lake where a Dam blocks a river and provides electricity for the region. Festival area has its own small forest alongside with a lake and amazing stone hills. Pakawala Fest did not choose this region just because of the historical and natural beauties, the festival area also discreet and far away from modern civilization.. It is splendid and unique experience..
